Why the network distributor matters
Every connection, disconnection or service upgrade runs through your local network distributor. Each distributor has its own application process and technical standards, and a Level 2 ASP must be authorised for the correct one — work cannot be energised by an ASP who isn't authorised for your distributor. Castellano Electrical holds authorisation for both Ausgrid and Endeavour Energy, so you don't need to find a different provider depending on where you live.
You can confirm connection requirements directly with Ausgrid or Endeavour Energy, but in practice we handle the entire application for you.

How do I know whether Ausgrid or Endeavour Energy covers my suburb?
As a rule, Ausgrid covers the CBD, Eastern Suburbs, Inner West, North Shore, Northern Beaches, St George and the Sutherland Shire, while Endeavour Energy covers Greater Western and South-West Sydney, the Hills, Blue Mountains, Hawkesbury and Illawarra. Our service-areas list shows the distributor for each suburb, and we confirm it for your exact address.
Why does the network distributor matter?
Each distributor has its own connection application process and technical standards, and an ASP must be authorised for the correct one. Using an ASP not authorised for your distributor means the work cannot be connected. We are authorised for both.
Are you authorised for both Ausgrid and Endeavour Energy?
Yes. We hold authorisation for both distributors, which means we can carry out Level 2 work anywhere in Greater Sydney without you having to find a separate provider for your area.
Do you charge more to travel to outer suburbs?
Our quotes account for the work and the location. We are based in Smithfield in Western Sydney and routinely work across both distributor areas; any travel is reflected transparently in the quote.
